The food was excellent, especially the scones, chicken curry and breakfast. The hotel has a picturesque location on the banks of the Barrow with a charming footbridge leading to an island. The bar offers a wide selection of draught beer and reasonably priced gin. The hotel room had great lighting, clean decor, and a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and polite, delivering an iron promptly when requested.

The location is amazing, right by the river and close to the town centre. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even cooked a gluten-free breakfast for my husband without any hassle. We can't wait to go back and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We stayed at a hotel during Christmas. the hotel offered complementary wine and cookies upon our arrival, which was a lovely gesture. the hotel was located near a beautiful park, where we enjoyed taking a walk and soaking in the sights of the town. Another advantage was the spacious room, which was perfect to spend the holiday with family.

the elevator was out of service, which made it challenging to travel with luggage and small children.
