The staff were friendly and happy to help. the location was great, with easy access to transport links and the seafront.

There was a lack of air conditioning or a fan in the room, which became noticeable during unseasonably warm weather.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the property. I was particularly impressed with the convenient location just off the seafront, making it easy to catch a bus in either direction. The rooms on the top floor, with the sea view that I had asked for, were absolutely perfect. And let's not forget about the breakfast - it was simply delicious! The aromatic black coffee was the perfect accompaniment to the tasty options on offer.

The staff are friendly and helpful, providing advice on where to eat and ensuring guests have a pleasant stay. The breakfast offers a variety of options, including delicious Manx kippers. The location also offers a beautiful view of the Irish Sea and streaming morning sunshine.

While the bathroom basin is neat, it can be a bit small and difficult to wash anything other than hands without splashing.

island & fairfield was a delightful surprise! after a previous stay in douglas, i didn't expect much, but this time it exceeded all my expectations. celine and the staff were incredibly welcoming, the breakfast was exceptional, and the location was perfect. will definitely stay here again!

The hotel's location was perfect as it was conveniently situated between the city center and the north of the small city. Being just a stone's throw away from the seafront was ideal. The service provided by the staff was outstanding, making us feel welcome and accommodating our needs. The breakfast offered was not only filling and varied, but also of excellent quality.

Island & Fairfield was a great place to stay in a fantastic location. We were close to the casino and just a short walk to the Douglas center and shops. the room was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the breakfast was delicious with a choice of dishes, including a full English or variations with locally sourced eggs. We also appreciated the kind gesture of storing our luggage until our departure.

Spent Christmas here and it was lovely! the breakfasts were superb, with freshly made pastries and eggs cooked to perfection. the location is perfect, close to everything you need and with a bus stop nearby. the staff were really friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations and even helped us plan our day trips. the rooms were clean and cosy, perfect for a winter getaway.

That the parking was on the street and limited, which was a bit of a hassle during the busy Christmas season. However, the staff offered helpful advice on where to find alternative parking options.
