The location was perfect, close to everything but still private and quiet. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the check-in experience was smooth, with a helpful staff member pointing out highlights on a map.

The room had an unusual bathroom configuration and the high ceiling helped make the room feel bigger. The cleanliness was not up to par, with stained walls and a smelly rug on the floor.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The hotel had decent-sized rooms and the breakfast was reasonable. The location was also convenient for accessing the train station and ferry port. The two complementary facts were an iron and a hairdryer available in the room, which saved us space in our luggage.

The service was extremely unhelpful, and the receptionists were rude and dismissive. The hotel courtyard was a breeding ground for mosquitoes, and despite opening the windows due to broken air conditioning, we were repeatedly bitten.
