The manager personally understood our expectations and helped us plan our visit to historical places in a short amount of time. The recommendations for restaurants were great. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient for exploring the city.

We had a fantastic stay at Althea Rooms. the location was ideal, just a short distance from the touristy area and close to the center, but away from the crowds. the room exceeded our expectations - it was clean, well-equipped, and even had a small fridge, kettle, and breakfast items provided. the owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing a more powerful internet cable for faster work. the bed was comfortable and the room had all the necessary amenities, including AC. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was easy with access codes provided. a great experience!

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in a great part of town near Santo Spirito. The room was exactly as advertised, comfortable and clean, with a surprisingly nice bathroom. The staff went above and beyond to provide helpful tips about the city and driving in and around Florence. The location was perfect, close to bars, restaurants, and only a short walk to the beautiful Arno lake and Pitti Palace. Mr. Antonio, the host, was incredibly kind and spoke Greek, which was a convenient bonus. a great experience at Althea Rooms.

We had a great stay at Althea Rooms during our trip to Florence. The room was stylish, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The location was perfect, not in the center but near a buzzing piazza with plenty of restaurants and bars. Despite the nightlife nearby, the street was peaceful at night with no noise issues. The host, Antonio, was incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with valuable information and making us feel like we were staying with a friend. The amenities, including TV, PC, air conditioning, hairdryer. Strongly recommend this hotel.

No breakfast provided, but it allowed for flexibility in choosing where to eat. The location south of the Arno River may not be the best for everyone and required a 20-minute walk to meet up with tours north of the river.
