Our stay at Castello Di Montegufoni was absolutely amazing. The views from our room were breathtaking, overlooking the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. The apartment itself was spacious and beautifully furnished, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed wandering around the castle grounds, which were peaceful and picturesque. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure our needs were met. The nearby town of Montegufoni provided easy access to food and supplies, allowing us to either cook in our apartment or dine out. Although we needed a car to explore Tuscany, the location of the castle was ideal for our day trips. Despite a minor delay in getting hot water in the shower, it didn't dampen our overall experience. We would definitely stay at Castello Di Montegufoni again and highly recommend it to others looking for a peaceful and authentic Tuscan getaway.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated to the period. the bathrooms were modern and comfortable. the staff were helpful and genuinely wanted to make our stay special. the location was perfect for exploring the Tuscan region, with easy access to roads that took us in different directions. We also loved the fact that there was a pool available for us to cool off in on hot days.

One downside was that there was no elevator in the hotel, so getting our luggage upstairs was a bit of a challenge. the wifi was only available in the lobby area, which was a bit inconvenient.

We had the most delightful stay at the castle. Being able to stay in a former castle in the beautiful Tuscan countryside was a dream come true. The location was idyllic and the surroundings were truly magical. The apartments were all different and each one had its own unique charm. The easy access to Florence was a bonus, and the beautiful garden and swimming pool added to the overall experience. The restaurant was amazing, and we enjoyed meeting and talking to people from all over the world.

We absolutely loved our stay at this historic castle. The building and grounds were simply stunning, and we enjoyed exploring all the beautiful features. The 20 ft ceilings, tapestries, and frescoes in our room made it a truly special experience. The onsite bar and restaurant had a great ambiance, and we appreciated the convenience of having delicious meals right at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were also glad to find white sheets on the beds, adding a touch of luxury to our accommodations.

The location in the Chianti region was convenient for exploring nearby attractions such as Siena, Florence, and San Gimignano. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and there were many eating options within minutes from the hotel. The swimming pool and garden area were well maintained, providing a relaxing environment.

We stayed a week in this 17th-century castle and it was absolutely stunning. The countryside surrounding the castle was beautiful, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting. The grounds were well-maintained, with a lovely swimming pool that provided the perfect place to relax. The architecture of the castle, though a bit worn, still exuded charm and character. The highlight of our stay was the enormous apartment called La Grotto, boasting breathtaking original frescoes on the ceiling and walls. The restaurant staff were friendly and the meals were delicious, accompanied by an excellent selection of wines. a truly unique and memorable experience.

Stunning building, located in picturesque Tuscan hills. Good restaurant with reasonable prices and local wine selection. Close to Florence and Pisa. Ample parking and nice pool. 10-minute drive to town with supermarket. Large, comfortable apartment. Beautiful country setting. interesting historical background. Friendly and accommodating staff. Some apartments have small kitchen and sitting area. Enjoyable dinner setup for meeting people. Different apartments offer unique experiences. Easy access to Florence. Lovely garden. Fun swimming pool experience.

What a dream come true! As a fan of Osbert Sitwell and having grown up near Renishaw Hall, staying in his former castle in the beautiful Tuscan countryside was a unique and delightful experience. The apartments are all different, and we loved our spacious and clean 3-bedroom villa. The shabby-chic atmosphere of the medieval castle added character and charm. The location was perfect for exploring historic places, and Florence was just a short drive away. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and the dinners allowed us to meet and make friends with travelers from all over the world.
