Paradise on Earth: I had a blast feeling like a professional cyclist while indulging in delicious food and wine. The only downside? I couldn't adjust the TV because it only spoke German. How fitting for a medieval castle getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views in every direction. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a well-maintained pool that we were grateful was open during our visit. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, providing us with personal care when we needed it. The breakfast was fulsome and delicious, with homemade cakes that were a highlight. we loved the peace and quiet of the area and the natural beauty that surrounded us.

The opportunity to taste the library vintages, as well as the 3 wines from the family Estates and the delicious EVO Oil, was a highlight of our stay. The amazing library of old vintages was truly a wine lover's dream come true. The knowledgeable staff made the tasting informative and enjoyable. It was a unique experience to learn about the history and tradition behind each vintage while savoring the flavors. We highly recommend it!

For dads, it would be great to have more activities specifically designed for children.

The breakfast offered a variety of options, including eggs and bacon. It would have been helpful to have a simple menu or staff informing us of the available offerings.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hilltop guest house with breathtaking views of the beautiful countryside. The ambience of the 1,000+ year old hamlet added a unique touch to our experience. The staff went above and beyond to address any issues we encountered, such as the air conditioning and lighting problems. They promptly moved us to another comfortable room and ensured that the electrician attended to the repairs. The two pools provided a refreshing escape, and we highly recommend taking the Wine Tour to learn about da Vinci's inventions. Despite a minor inconvenience of not having matches to light the gas stove and difficulties with the TV language settings, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Castello Di Volpaia. The absence of internet and limited signal can be expected in such an ancient castle, and a few small improvements like window stoppers and additional hooks in the bathroom would have been nice. However, these did not diminish our overall satisfaction. We would definitely stay here again.

The highlight was definitely the amazing library of old vintages. We had the opportunity to taste some seriously cool wines and even tried the family's EVO oil. The bike tours were a blast too, perfect for a group of friends. We felt like total badasses exploring the stunning countryside on our bikes.

The only thing we wished for was a bit more nightlife. While the location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, us young party-goers wouldn't have minded a bit more action in the evenings.

For the price we paid, we definitely got our money's worth. The room was cozy and had a beautiful, clean bathroom with a window overlooking nature. The location in a small winery village was unique and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful.
