I recently stayed at Te Mata Lodge for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location was perfect, with easy walking access to the town's shops and restaurants. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed, small kitchen, and a delightful spa bath. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, and it was always a pleasure to come back to a spotless space after a day of exploring. The guest laundry facilities and excellent Sky TV options were also great additions to our stay. I give this lodge a 10 out of 10 for its luxurious amenities and stress-free experience.

This place has a super friendly receptionist and a great size room with a big spa bath. The location is perfect, just across the road from main shops and restaurants, and there's a beautiful walk down beside the river.

We had a great romantic escape that was comfortable and relaxing. the beds were incredibly comfortable and the shower was fantastic with good water pressure. the location was ideal as it was just a short stroll to the main street with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful, offering excellent service.

The lack of parking. We had to park a bit further away from the hotel, which wasn't a major issue but could be challenging for those with mobility issues.

I had a wonderful stay at a conveniently located motel. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The Wi-Fi was excellent and the daily room servicing was a nice touch. The proximity to eateries and shops made it even better. I highly recommend staying here.

The location was excellent and central to Havelock North shops. The unit was spacious and had great parking. The hosts and housekeeping team were super helpful and friendly. The motel was close to restaurants, cinema, and supermarkets.

Absolutely nothing.

The motel is conveniently located near a variety of eateries & bars, making it easy to find a place to eat and drink. It is also very close to the town centre, allowing for easy access to shops and attractions. The spacious rooms are well equipped with kitchen facilities and the bathrooms have all the necessary amenities. The friendly staff provide excellent service and the continental and cooked breakfast options are reasonably priced.

There were some issues with the bathroom facilities such as a low showerhead and a fan that was not very efficient in clearing the steam.

Stayed at a central location with lovely big rooms at Te Mata Lodge. the staff were very helpful and made our stay comfortable. the room and bed were clean and cozy, and we especially enjoyed the big spa bath. the lodge is conveniently close to the Village, shops, and restaurants, making it easy to explore on foot. We had a great experience and will definitely stay here again when we're back in town.
