We've stayed at La Casa Del Califa before and it was great! the hotel is well located, right in the middle of town, and beautifully decorated. the moorish style adds charm to every corner, and there are several reading rooms to explore. Our room had a lovely view over the main plaza, and the noise was not disturbing. the restaurant is also a fantastic attraction, with tasteful decor and high-quality food and wine.

The hotel is located on a beautiful square, offering stunning views of the town and the valley below. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the leafy Jardin restaurant, and there are private roof terraces for relaxation. The rooms are comfortable, with a large bed for a good night's sleep, and some even have views of the Teteria or the courtyard dining area. The staff is delightful and the breakfasts are excellent, with a wide variety of choices including freshly cooked eggs to order.

There was some noise from maintenance work on a Monday morning, which could be a slight inconvenience.

Noise from outside during the night.

The hotel was full of character and had a unique and cool setting. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, offering to carry our bags and providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooftop patio was a great spot to relax and enjoy the views. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a big bathroom. The outdoor restaurant had tasty food and we especially enjoyed the Lamb Tagine with vegetables and spices. the hotel had a great ambiance and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area.

Our room was noisy due to its proximity to the public restaurant. Although the first night was okay, we had to use ear plugs on the second night.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming boutique hotel in Southern Spain. The unique design, etched into the hillside, was unlike anything we had seen before. The attached restaurant offered amazing food, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we highly recommend this hotel for its cultural ambiance and beautiful location. we had a pleasant and memorable experience.

Jaw-dropping views, spacious and well-equipped rooms, charming and unique building, amazing dinners, affordable covered parking.

This hotel is located right in the town centre, in a delightful square. Depending on the room you choose, you can enjoy views of old men sipping sherry in the cafes or majestic views over the dry plains. The building is pretty and quirky with winding corridors and staircases. The food in the restaurant is exceptional, with breakfasts being leisurely and dinners inspired by the town's Moorish history and culture.

Some guests complained about the lack of maintenance in certain rooms and the inconvenience of the steep stairs.

The spacious classic double room we stayed in had everything we needed, including a kettle, tea and coffee, and a large bathroom with all the amenities. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Situated at one of the main plazas in the old town, the hotel offered a central location, making it easy to explore Vejer on foot. And let's not forget the delicious North African dishes served at the in-house restaurant. The blend of spices and flavors was truly delightful, and the service was friendly and efficient. our time at La Casa Del Califa was filled with wonder and enjoyment, and I highly recommend spending more than just a night here to fully immerse yourself in its Arabian-night-inspired ambiance.
