The room I stayed in had a spacious tub/shower combo, which was a pleasant surprise given the typical size of Italian bathrooms. The hotel also had no canal bridges between it and a water taxi stop, making it easy to navigate with luggage. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff were not very helpful and seemed indifferent to our requests. We asked about a patio and received a vague response.

In my opinion, the best aspects of this hotel were its perfect location and the helpfulness of the staff. The hotel is situated in a very quiet back street near St Mark's Square and is also conveniently close to the San Zaccaria waterbus landing. It was so close to everything that I could easily explore the city on foot or catch a water bus to other parts of this beautiful city. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast provided was delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from. The staff were professional and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.

We had a great stay at Castello! The location was excellent, just 2 minutes from San Marco. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, even changing our bed arrangements and allowing us to store our luggage before check-in. The decor was nice and traditional, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the internet connection was good. We would definitely choose to stay here again when visiting.

This hotel is excellent in a quiet spot but so close to San Marco and surrounded by restaurants. The staff was friendly and the rooms were decorated nicely in traditional Venetian style. The bed was really comfortable, allowing us to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was generous with a buffet offering a variety of options including cheese, ham, different breads, cakes, cereal. Special thanks to the wonderful catering lady who prepared some snacks for my parents to take away as they had to leave early morning.
