The view from our room at Hotel Fontebella was absolutely breathtaking! I couldn't get enough of the stunning scenery that greeted me every morning. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location was perfect, allowing us easy access to the major sites in the beautiful town. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had a great experience. The restaurant, il frantoio, served the best meal we had during our entire trip to Italy. I highly recommend Hotel Fontebella for anyone visiting Assisi.

Travelling alone, I enjoyed the spectacular view of the Umbrian valley from my upgraded room. The staff were friendly and the restaurant served outstanding food with a beautiful view. The breakfast spread was excellent, with fresh fruit to start the day.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a holy and inspiring place. The location was perfect, nestled right in the heart of a medieval town. Our room had a breathtaking view of the valley, which added to the mystique of the experience. The staff were very helpful, especially the young woman in the lobby and bar area who greeted us with a friendly "Tell me." The breakfast was delicious and the air conditioning worked well. Although the room was small, it was clean and had hot water in the bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel for its charm and unique atmosphere.

We stayed in the heart of the town, surrounded by historical landmarks and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. It was convenient to explore the rich history and beauty of the area. However, we were unable to get recommendations from the hotel staff regarding local restaurants, which was a bit disappointing.

The room we had was a little cramped, and the bathroom was quite small with dim lighting.

Arriving during a Peace march made it challenging, but once we parked conveniently in front of the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff. Our room had street views, but the bed was comfortable. The restaurant, Il Frantoio, served fantastic 5-course meals with a spectacular hillside view. Martin, the waiter, was exceptional, providing excellent service and making us feel welcome. The included breakfast offered a variety of delicious options.

We loved our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel in Assisi. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the center of everything and just up the hill from the St. Francis Basilica. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful Umbrian valley. The staff at the reception desk and dining room were extremely friendly and always willing to help with any request. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, with amenities such as air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-bar. We also enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant, with the truffle pie being an absolute standout. we had a fantastic experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to everyone.
