Location was convenient, surrounded by nice restaurants and quiet at night. Breakfast was satisfying. Staff was occasionally complicated but ultimately helpful. Fast internet available everywhere. Lobby was comfortable and lovely.

We just had our third amazing stay at Hotel Giglio. Manuela and Marco are truly wonderful hosts. Their breakfast is the best we've ever had in Italy, especially the fresh fruit salad. Being American, we appreciate the boiled eggs as a great protein option. the hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk to the Duomo and other famous sights. We always enjoy the walk from the train station, avoiding the hassle of taxis. the staff is friendly, helpful, and speaks perfect English. the internet coverage is excellent, and we love that they have a small library of books and DVDs to borrow. it was a fantastic experience.

Construction noise during the day, affected the overall experience. Issues with amenities like A/C and TV, took time to resolve.

The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk away from the main sightseeing area. the neighborhood was safe and filled with shops and restaurants.

One downside was that the hotel could get a bit noisy during the night. There were impolite guests who were shutting doors loudly and since it's an old building, you could hear noise from other rooms.

We loved the spacious and clean room with high ceilings and a balcony. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with restaurant suggestions and a map of the city upon check-in. The location was ideal, within a short walking distance of major attractions and close to several eating joints. Additionally, the free breakfast was a perfect start to our day.

As youngsters, we loved the cozy and clean rooms with a huge bathroom and the small elevator that made getting to our room easy. The location was perfect, close enough to the main sites but in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The owners, Manuela and Marco, were friendly and gave us great tips to explore Florence. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit salad, and we even enjoyed luminescent stars on our ceiling that created a magical atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, as it was within walking distance of pretty much everything.
