Relatively cheap for a 5-star, with sea-view room upgrade, large comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities, and free parking and drinks. Short walk to old town with bars, cafes, and restaurants. Good breakfast, clean rooms, nice pool area, and helpful staff. Beautiful view, especially at sunset.

Excellent location near swimming spots, bars, restaurants, and Old Town. Impeccably clean property with quick room cleaning. Friendly reception staff offering helpful advice. Amazing buffet breakfast with omelettes and made-to-order coffee. Free bottled water and soft drinks in room mini bar. Exceptional health spa with a large saltwater swimming pool. Unlimited fresh squeezed orange juice. Stunning sea view from rooms. Welcoming restaurant and bar staff. Nicely air-conditioned reception area. Great restaurants in town. Very clean rooms and nice pool area.

We had a fantastic stay at Smy Carlos V Wellness & Spa. the breakfast had a big choice available, and the room was spacious with a lovely large terrace. the highlight was the very big and nice swimming pool, perfect for relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of the garden. the gym, although a bit minimal, had enough equipment to keep us in exercise during our holiday. the bar on the 2nd floor provided a breathtaking view of the entire Alghero coast. the location was convenient, with a lovely walk into the town center. the staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were cleaned daily. We also appreciated the nice touch of a fruit platter waiting in our room upon arrival.

Amazing beach location, beautiful rooms with modern decor, and fantastic spa services. the hotel's proximity to the local attractions was another advantage.

I didn't like the extremely high price of food and drinks available in the hotel.

the view outside the hotel was breathtaking. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they all spoke great English. the pool was clean and well maintained, creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere with plenty of lounge chairs and beds available. the room itself was lovely, with modern and clean furniture. the bed was comfortable, and housekeeping did a perfect job servicing the room every day. the bathroom had lots of counter space and a big shower with great water pressure. the air conditioning was exceptional, leaving a strong impression. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose to stay here again.

This hotel is absolutely luxurious. the exclusive amenities offered here are all top, notch, from the spa & wellness centre to the swimming pool and outdoor sun terrace. the massage treatments were exceptional, and the beauty treatments exceeded expectations. the seasonal outdoor pool area featured beautifully landscaped gardens and comfortable sun loungers.

The only minor issue noticed was with the in, room breakfast service. Even though the menu offered a variety of options for a special diet, there were limited options for gluten, free guests.

Beautiful sea-facing location, just a short stroll from the city center. Spacious and comfortable seaside rooms with large balconies. Great pool and well-maintained building. High standard of cleanliness. Excellent breakfast with made-to-order eggs. Some exceptionally nice staff. Reasonable bar prices with lots of nibbles. Complimentary mini bar with water and non-alcoholic drinks.
