Charming ambiance with classic decor.

My experience at Hotel Donatello was far from ideal. While the location is certainly convenient, the staff at the front desk had a jaded demeanor, which really set a negative tone from the start. I also encountered issues with the breakfast service. even though the coffee was good, I had to ask multiple times, and the food selection was lacking.

The hotel's location across from Basilica di San Antonio was perfect for exploring Padua. The staff at the reception was friendly and accommodating, providing great tips and arranging transportation when needed. Breakfast featured a delightful variety, including freshly baked cornetti that were a sweet start each morning.

While the stay was enjoyable, the room felt a bit outdated, and there was a strange noise from outside that sometimes disrupted sleep. The breakfast selection could also improve, as some items were often cold and we'd like to see more variety overall.

I encountered quite a few setbacks during my stay. The parking situation was misleading as it wasn't included despite what my reservation stated, which created unnecessary confusion. Additionally, the noise from the nearby restaurant and road made it difficult to get a good night's sleep, especially since the windows weren't very soundproof. Even worse, the breakfast quality was subpar. the coffee was weak, and the food lacked freshness—definitely not what I expected. Overall, these issues left me frustrated and disappointed.

the location of hotel donatello is super cool, right across from that amazing basilica. my room had an awesome view of the church, which was just perfect for taking pics. also, the staff were super nice and had some really helpful tips for places to eat around the area. breakfast was pretty good too, especially the fresh coffees, they got the best vibes. overall, felt really welcomed and enjoyed my stay!

the location is superb, facing the basilica. and the breakfast team is fantastic, serving delicious cappuccinos and a variety of options like ham, cheese, and pastries. truly a delightful start to the day!

I stayed for two nights. The location was convenient for exploring. I got a room with a view of the Basilica, which was a nice touch. The breakfast had a good variety, and the staff provided attentive service. I appreciated the garage, but the ramp was steep, which was a bit tricky for my car.

The breakfast was plentiful and good,, especially loved the fresh coffee served each morning. I chatted with the staff at the reception who were really helpful,,, they gave me tips on local restaurants that didn't disappoint for dinner.

It wasn't exactly affordable,, but for the quality, I’d say it was worth it.
