I loved the hotel's fantastic staff! They were so helpful and handled everything exceptionally. The location was super cool too, being only a 5-minute walk to the Colosseum and 10-15 minutes to all the major attractions. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was nice.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Rome. The location could not have been better, as it was right in the middle of the historic center, close to all the main attractions. Within minutes, I could walk to the metro and in just ten minutes, I was at the Colosseum. The rooms were clean, quiet, and had all the necessary amenities. I appreciated the extra space to lay out my suitcase and the comfortable bed. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast, which included fresh breads, cereals, cheeses, meats. I was impressed with the value for money and the attentive service provided by the staff.

Hotel Grifo in Rome is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the historic area of Rome, just a stone's throw away from the Colosseum. It's as if you're staying in an old monument itself! The hotel is directly at the center of Rome, with all the major landmarks within walking distance. Plus, the rooms come with a private terrace, which was great for enjoying the views and soaking up the atmosphere. The continental breakfast included with a really good coffee served each morning was the perfect way to start the day.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was fantastic and we couldn't find a single thing to fault.

Perfect location for exploring the main sights of the city. We were able to walk everywhere and only had to take the metro once to visit the Vatican. the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and provided us with a map of the area, pointing out the main attractions and giving us tips on where to avoid tourist traps. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, making it convenient for meals.

The location of this hotel was what absolutely made the trip. We didn't spend any money on taxis at all as it was within walking distance of all the sights in the historic center. The prices for the metro were very reasonable, only €1.50 per single trip, making it an ideal way to explore the city. The metro station was just a 2-minute walk away from the hotel. The rooms may have been small, but they were neat and clean. There was something fresh about the room and it had a lovely retro-kitsch feel. The breakfast at this hotel was just the appetizer. It had good options to order like eggs, toast, fruit, and also a continental buffet-style with coffee, juice. It really set you up for the day.

The only minor downside was the lack of English stations on the TV, but it wasn't a big deal.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with some even offering a private balcony for relaxation.

There were some renovations taking place during our stay, which resulted in us being accommodated in an annex across the street.

This hotel has a great location, very near major attractions, directly at the centre of Rome, in a historic area of Rome with lots of restaurants nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they provided maps and gave great advice on the best places to go. The rooms are nice and clean with a good working shower and some even have a private terrace which was great. Breakfast is included with a really good coffee served.

All was well, no complaints.
