My stay at Hotel I Somaschi was absolutely delightful. I was in Cherasco for a few days to explore the stunning scenery and indulge in the fantastic wines of the region. The hotel's architecture is truly amazing, with a beautiful pool and a charming character that is unique to the building. The location is also brilliant, providing easy access to the picturesque towns of Barolo and Alba. Additionally, the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was the absolute best I had during my travels in Italy, with a friendly waitress who remembered my coffee preferences. Paulo, the receptionist, was excellent and provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area. I had a wonderful experience at Hotel I Somaschi and will definitely return if I am ever in the region again.

The large cathedral next door provides a sense of tranquility. Housed in a beautifully converted monastery, the hotel exudes style and elegance. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with modern facilities and comfortable beds. The friendly staff are always ready to assist you, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Start your day with a satisfying breakfast, featuring a variety of options to suit all tastes.

Accessing the car park can be a bit complicated at times.

The highlight of my stay at Hotel I Somaschi was the extraordinary dining experience in the refectory of the old monastery. The food prepared by renowned chef Walter Eynard was exceptional, and the wine from Ferruccio Rivolta's nearby vineyard perfectly complemented the meal. It was truly a privilege to taste Mr. Rivolta's rosolio as a digestif. The breakfast in the enormous wine cellar was also excellent. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, offering useful information when requested. The hotel itself was a splendid converted monastery, combining modern amenities with the historical charm of the building. The cozy and comfortable room had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I highly recommend Hotel I Somaschi for its exceptional dining, friendly staff, and unique atmosphere.

Spent a lovely Easter weekend in a charming converted monastery. The quiet location overlooking the valley was perfect for relaxation. Loved the fact that we could explore the nearby wine country. The pool area was clean and had a good atmosphere. The terrace that came with our room was a lovely bonus – perfect for early morning coffee with a view.

Although the breakfast room was charming, the service was a bit confusing, and we struggled with the language barrier. Also, the breakfast buffet tended to run out of some items and could have been better replenished. The winding, narrow road to the hotel could be a bit harrowing, especially for those who are not accustomed to driving in hilly areas.

We had a fantastic stay at a great spot with a wonderful view. the surrounding area was perfect for going on a run in the wild, and the people working at the hotel, including the blonde woman in the breakfast room, were so lovely. They served an amazing italiano americano and the breakfast in general was excellent. the staff were always smiling and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. the location in the center was ideal, and the big rooms provided plenty of space for our family. We will definitely come back and explore more of the charming town of Cherasco.
