The location of Hotel Il Bargellino was perfect, just a short walk from major attractions and surrounded by cafes and bars. The bed was comfortable, and a standing fan was provided. The owner was exceptionally accommodating and had a great sense of humor. The highlight was the terrace, a must-visit spot for enjoying coffee and pastries.

It is also close to the Santa Maria Novella train station, allowing for easy transportation around the city. Additionally, the hotel is situated near the center, making it a convenient base for exploring all the attractions Florence has to offer. For breakfast, guests can find a variety of options at the nearby food market, which is known for its excellent selection. Furthermore, the rooms are clean and tidy, ensuring a comfortable stay.

The Wi-Fi in some areas of the hotel, such as the second floor, may be unreliable at times.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel - it exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location was perfect, being very close to the central train station. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and also for taking day trips to other nearby towns. Secondly, the staff were fantastic - they were friendly, responsive, and always willing to help. They even went the extra mile to make museum reservations for me in advance. Lastly, the rooms were lovely and provided direct access to the terrace, which was a real treat. It was such a pleasure to have breakfast on the terrace every morning, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.

There was honestly nothing that I found lacking during my stay. Everything was just perfect.

The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax with a bottle of wine. Carmel and Pino were excellent hosts and gave us great advice, even reserving our tickets to see David.
