had a wonderful stay in florence, and la fortezza exceeded my expectations. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. location was great, only a short walk to the city center. overall, a fantastic experience.

The room was very comfortable and we were impressed by the friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is close to all the main attractions - just a 10-minute stroll to Frinze Central and not far from the railway station. The breakfast was superior, with a variety of delicious options including tiramisu and manually crafted cappuccino. The staff was very accommodating and multilingual, making our stay even more enjoyable. We especially want to mention Mohammed, who went above and beyond to assist us when my partner had a sore ankle. He provided an ice pack and even showed us where to find the lift to avoid using the stairs.
