The location is fantastic, right near the opera house and vibrant pedestrian areas. The room was spacious, but street noise was quite bothersome at night. Parking is a bit tricky, so prepare for some walking at check-in.

the entrance is up a flight of stairs, so if you’re expecting royal treatment, good luck. and let’s not forget the loud noises from the ancient electric water heater in my room, it was as if a jet engine was ready for takeoff. i almost gave them a good review but just couldn’t because i expected at least a complimentary gesture for my troubles.

massimo plaza is right across from the teatro and super close to tons of great street food and trattorias. the staff were incredibly helpful, even delivering breakfast to my room at 4 am for an early flight.

The stairs to the entrance are like a mini workout, and don't even get me started on the cable TV drama. I mean, who needs reality TV when you have hotel drama?

The late check-out was a lovely perk since we had an afternoon flight, and I really enjoyed having breakfast delivered to my room with fresh local ingredients. The hotel also offered relaxing foot and back massages to unwind after a long day. Just a heads up, the safe in my room wasn’t working initially, but the staff promptly took care of it! 😊
