During my recent stay at a charming hotel near Lake Como, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and helpfulness of the staff. The location was ideal, allowing easy access to nearby attractions. The rooms were clean, tidy, and offered a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast provided a variety of options to suit different preferences.

Large clean swimming pool, abundant sunbeds. Green surroundings, mountain view. Easy parking, grocery shop nearby. Friendly staff, responsive to requests. Basic yet clean rooms, everything needed. Delicious fresh pizza at the on-site restaurant. Would recommend and return.

The value for money at Merloni was great, with clean and modern rooms. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful nature and mountains around. The staff treated us like family and were always helpful.

The food for breakfast could have been better, with more variety.

The hotel is situated close to the main attractions surrounding Lake Como, allowing for easy access to places like Menaggio and Lugano. The location of the hotel provides a stunning view of the lake, as it is nestled down the winding hill. Additionally, the rooms are clean and spacious, with large bathrooms. The friendly and helpful service adds to the overall positive experience. The breakfast offered at the hotel is also satisfying.

The dinner menu is quite limited, and there are no other restaurants within walking distance.

My partner and I recently stayed at a hotel in the mountains above Lake Como and we had a pleasant time. The pool and the surrounding grounds were definitely the highlights of our stay. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the views from it were stunning. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location, away from the crowds. We were also impressed by the complimentary breakfast and the comfortable rooms.

We did notice that our room had a damp smell, which was a bit of a letdown. We also found that the walls were a bit thin, as we could hear the next room's TV.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, beautiful swimming pool with mountain backdrop, ample parking space, easy access to nearby attractions such as Villa del Balbianello and Bellagio ferry.

Nothing not to love.
