This quaint B&B is located in a very quiet neighborhood that backs up onto a hill with no neighbors behind. It is also conveniently close to the city center, just a short 10-minute walk to the famous Ponte Vecchio and Duomo. There is a good selection of restaurants in the area, with some authentic ones on the same side of the river as the B&B.

The only negative aspect mentioned in the reviews is the need to climb several steps and navigate a narrow staircase to reach the rooms, which can be troublesome if you have large suitcases.

Donatella at Monte Oliveto was an amazing host, always ready to help with recommendations and directions. the B&B felt like a warm and welcoming home, with clean and cozy rooms. the added convenience of being able to purchase bus tickets directly from Donatella was a bonus. the location was perfect, away from the tourist crowds but still within walking distance to major attractions. the beautiful garden was a peaceful retreat. Highly recommended!

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. the breakfast provided was delicious and had a good variety of options. the location was perfect, close to all the main attractions and easily accessible by public transportation.

The parking situation was quite difficult, especially during busy times. It was a bit inconvenient to have to park a few streets away from the B&B.

We loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the B&B. The hosts, Marta and her mum, were extremely friendly and helpful. The homemade breakfasts in the beautiful garden were a delight. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on. We felt so comfortable and well taken care of during our stay.

It felt like a home away from home, with no reason to complain.
