I had the most amazing stay at San Francesco Al Monte. The location was absolutely breathtaking, floating above the chaos of the city. The views from Vesuvius to Capri were expansive and truly awe-inspiring. The rooftop swimming pool was an absolute highlight, offering a refreshing dip with a stunning backdrop. The rooms were comfortable and I loved exploring the old monastery relics, like the underground chapel.

We had a great time staying here! The location was perfect for exploring the city, whether we wanted to venture down to the lively spagnoli quarter or up to the posh vomero district, both easily accessible via the funicular. The hotel is situated on top of a hill just outside the Spanish Quarters, offering fantastic views of the surroundings. The service here was top-notch, from the helpful check-in desk staff to the attentive restaurant manager who went above and beyond to make our dining experience special. The facilities were excellent, with a spa and wellness center, outdoor swimming pool, and a rooftop pool where we could relax and take in the stunning views. We also appreciated the little touches like the welcome drink and the option for in-room breakfast. a wonderful place to stay and explore this vibrant city.

The Terrazza dei Barbanti restaurant on the fourth floor serves up decent Neapolitan and Mediterranean dishes. The monastery's history is fascinating. The attentive service and stunning views make for an unforgettable experience.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room - shockingly poor for a hotel of this caliber.

Old convent with chapel, welcoming staff, good breakfast choices. Great location near city center and metro stops. Effective air conditioning and comfortable bedrooms.

The rooftop pool was a great addition, and the valet parking was a plus in this hectic city. The location, although far from the center, was just what we wanted - far but not too far from the chaos. The view from the hotel was amazing, and the rooms were spacious.

We stayed at a hotel during Christmas and it was a lovely experience. the two complementary facts offered in the room were such a treat. the hotel location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, with easy access to all the nearby shops and attractions. We also enjoyed the beautiful decorations around the hotel, creating the perfect festive atmosphere.

Our door was faulty and we got locked out with two kids late at night. It would have been better if they were more apologetic about the situation and took immediate steps to fix the issue.
