The breakfast team made mornings enjoyable.

I was disappointed with the room's security. The locks on the door were faulty, making it a hassle to feel safe during our stay. Additionally, the shower pressure was low, which made refreshing after a long day difficult. Despite the beautiful surroundings, I found myself frustrated by these issues, and it detracted from the experience I hoped to have.

The homemade soup was like a warm hug on a chilly evening! I also savored the delicious green plantain sandwiches and the gorgeous view from my room was simply breathtaking. Just listening to the soothing ocean sounds while I relaxed made it worth every moment.

Now, I’ll say this, the front desk team could use a smile or two, and hot water was a bit elusive during our stay. Yet, the vibrant atmosphere shined through, and the friendly bartender lifted our spirits!

The views from the room were just too lekker! The breakfast team was so friendly, serving up a killer spread every morning. Made me feel right at home, like I was chilling with my chommies!

The hot water didn’t always make an appearance, which was a bit of a bummer after a long day of exploring.

Hibiscus Lodge has a charming and peaceful vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly, with special mention to the breakfast team who made mornings enjoyable. It’s conveniently located near markets and restaurants. The outdoor facilities were excellent. however, a mini fridge in the rooms would enhance convenience. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

The room was decent, pretty basic but clean. The bed was comfy, which was a plus. However, it would’ve been great to have a mini fridge to keep drinks cool. The view from the balcony was gorgeous, overlooking the ocean. That made up for the lack of some amenities. Had a bit of noise from the street at night, but the ocean sounds were soothing. Overall, it was a cozy place to relax after a day out.
