The location is perfect with a 3 min brisk walk to the station and a 7/11 store just behind for easy breakfast supplies. The hotel has a map with useful places marked and lots of great information about the area. The rooms are larger than typical sizes in Tokyo. Staff are always available to help, making it a great value for money option. The hotel also has an onsen on the top for guests to enjoy.

On the 9th floor, the hot spring tubs were excellent. Friendly staff and efficient service. a practical hotel with no frills, but good value for money if the price was lower.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Takayama and had a great experience. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the train station and close to the markets, restaurants, and walking tours in the area. The hotel had computers in the lobby where you could easily search for nearby restaurants, which was a lifesaver since we struggled to find one that was open on our first night. The staff was courteous and the room was clean and comfortable. I also loved the convenience of the auto check-out system. it was a well-maintained hotel with a great location.

I had a lovely stay at a business hotel halfway between the train station and the old town. The location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the bus station and major streets. The hotel was clean and neat, with spacious rooms. The staff, although not fluent in English, were helpful and nice. I also enjoyed the free hot bath/hot spring for guests. I would definitely recommend Spa Hotel Alpina Hida to friends.

I had an amazing weekend getaway in the Japanese Alps. the location is perfect with easy access to several restaurants, markets, and walking tours. I loved the fact that there were computers in the lobby that guests can use to search for restaurants in the area. the food festival on Sunday was the cherry on top, delicious and well-prepared food stands were everywhere. the town was beautiful, with stunning views from higher floors. It was the best town I visited during my trip to Japan.

Although the single room was comfortable, the electric water heater-cum-humidifier was too small making it a bit of a hassle to boil water for drinking. the bathroom was not very spacious for taller guests.

The onsen facility was excellent, perfect for relaxation after a long day of cycling.

Felt cozy, no complaints at all.
