I had a fantastic stay at this place. The location is absolutely amazing with stunning views of the castle opposite. It's great that the hotel is not so centric as it provides a quieter atmosphere. The hotel shuttle bus to and from the train station was really convenient. The room was well-appointed and spacious, providing enhanced comfort. The staff, especially Cedric from the reception, were extremely friendly and helpful, always making sure my needs were met. I also appreciated the variety of amenities and services offered, such as the free Wi-Fi, in-room breakfast, and the availability of a bar and restaurant on-site. this hotel provided a luxury experience with its top-notch facilities and quality services.

We had a romantic escape and enjoyed the clean and tidy rooms at this hotel. the breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of delicious dishes. the hotel's location, overlooking the castle and surrounded by beautiful hills, provided a picturesque backdrop for our stay.

The hotel's common areas and reception area looked a little dated, but were still well-maintained. the rooms, however, were in need of an update and felt worn off.

The location was absolutely amazing, right in front of the Nijo Castle. The view from my room was breathtaking, especially since I chose the castle view option. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of options. The staff was efficient and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. Despite being slightly out of the main city center, the hotel was well-connected with the subway and train network, making it easy to explore Kyoto. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The pickup point for the Limousine bus from Kyoto Station to the hotel was excellent. The hotel has a nice 1990's look and is well maintained. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, and the hot onsen within the hotel is a great feature. The staff provides excellent service in the Kyoto way. it offers value for money and a fantastic experience.

Additionally, the hotel offered a free shuttle bus to Kyoto station, which made transportation convenient. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and service were top-notch.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel. The staff at the reception dressed in kimonos gave us a warm welcome upon our arrival. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with large bathrooms and excellent daily cleaning service. We appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee facilities in our room. The hotel had lovely seating areas and entertaining activities in the evenings, including a skybar that was open one of the nights. The entire staff was friendly and professional, and their ability to speak good English was a major plus. They were extremely helpful in providing directions and even spent 20 minutes assisting us in finding an address in Osaka. The hotel also offered a free shuttle service to the train station, which was very convenient. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Special thanks to the lady at the front counter who went above and beyond to assist us in arranging a bus ticket during a busy period. The exceptional service provided by the staff truly made our stay memorable.

The bath powder, steam eye mask, and coffee added to the overall comfort. The breakfast buffet featured delicious options like a full American breakfast and a full Japanese breakfast. Additionally, the spacious and comfortable room, along with the excellent service provided by the manager in the Castle Gate cocktail bar, made our stay even more enjoyable. The shuttle service to and from Kyoto station every 15 minutes was a big plus. a great experience for people who like karaoke and casinos.
