Our stay at Arai Ryokan was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and attentive service. The traditional Japanese atmosphere was evident in every aspect of the ryokan, from the stunning architecture to the beautifully arranged meals. The onsen baths were a highlight, offering a serene and rejuvenating experience. Despite the age of the building, it added to the charm and authenticity of our stay. we highly recommend Arai Ryokan for a truly traditional and memorable experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. The location was perfect, right in the center of town, allowing us to easily explore all the local attractions. The service was top-notch with friendly staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The room amenities were fantastic, with heating and air conditioning ensuring the perfect temperature. We also appreciated the free toiletries and the in-room safe for our valuables. The dining experience was exceptional, with special diet menus available and attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed. The leisure facilities, including the swimming pool and massage services, were a great way to unwind and relax. this place provided us with a luxurious and comfortable stay.

This place is highly recommended for families.

Located in the heart of the onsen street and near a famous temple. Spacious rooms with traditional decor and some aging furnishings. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent onsen facilities, including an outdoor bath and a renowned artist-designed onsen. Breathtaking views of a river, waterfall, bamboo grove, and red lacquered bridge from the room.

The hot springs were lovely with both indoor and outdoor options and the private bath was a treat. the hotel is centrally located with easy access to the sights. the meals were traditional and delicious.

The room was slightly dated but comfortable. the lighting outside the room at night was bothersome.
