after a disappointing stay in sapporo, i found a hidden gem. arura was a breath of fresh air. friendly staff, clean rooms, and a cozy vibe made my stay unforgettable. highly recommend!

arura exceeded our expectations during our recent stay in sapporo. the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, along with the clean and spacious room, made us feel right at home. the friendly staff and pet-friendly environment added to the overall enjoyable experience.

Noisy roommates impacted our sleep.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel! the owner and their family were incredibly cool and helpful. the hostel had a fun vibe and everything was clean and well-maintained. We loved the well-designed layout, including the cozy common space and outside terrace. the bathroom and shower area were great, and it was a bonus that the washing machine was free to use. the small restaurant and bar in the common space had delicious food and an excellent selection of reasonably priced wines. We also enjoyed the music playing, the availability of a guitar, and the fact that dogs were welcome. the atmosphere was much better than other hostels we've seen in Japan, where people often keep to themselves.

The location is perfect, close to Nakajima Park and subway stations. the staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. the hostel itself is well-designed with a cosy and friendly atmosphere. the beds are top-quality and very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We appreciated the cleanliness of the hostel and the warm room. we were thrilled that the hostel is pet-friendly, as we were able to bring our small dog along. this hostel surpassed our expectations and felt like a superior boutique hotel.

I had an amazing stay at a hostel called Arura. the owner and their friendly dog made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. the hostel had modern and clean facilities, and I felt safe with the doorlock codes for each room and the hostel itself. the location was great, close to the station, and there was a paid car park right behind the hostel. I also appreciated the availability of safes in the rooms. the common space, with its small restaurant and bar, had great food, a nice selection of wines, and a laid-back vibe. Arura was a fantastic place to stay.

The bar and restaurant are the perfect spots to stuff my face with delicious Hokkaido food and drinks. Plus, I met some interesting locals who enlightened me about all the cool stuff happening in the city.

Just wish they had more space for me to whip up a gourmet meal in my own room. Oh well, can't have it all!
