We had a wonderful experience at a charming ryokan in the mountains. The spacious double room with a private bathroom was clean and comfortable. The meals were of high quality, with a delicious buffet breakfast and well-prepared evening dinners. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my wife's vegan diet. They even offered to take us to a local sushi restaurant, which was a special treat. The location was perfect, right at the base of a ski field, and we were provided with snow boots and sleds for free. I highly recommend this hotel for a mountain getaway.

This ski resort is a great place for families with small kids. The location is perfect for skiing, with easy access to multiple ski runs. The rooms are warm and comfortable, with traditional Japanese tatami mats. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner provided are delicious and offer a wide variety of options, including homemade breads and traditional Japanese dishes. The private onsen at the base of the hotel is a great way to relax after a day on the slopes.

The rental gear could use an upgrade.
