Nothing that I didn't like.

We were blown away by the location of the hotel, nestled in a small valley next to a couple of beautiful hills. The surrounding nature was absolutely stunning, with vibrant autumn colors and a river running nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, with traditional Japanese decor and tatami floors. The staff provided excellent service from the moment we arrived, helping us with our luggage and ensuring we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious, with beautifully presented dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The hotel also had some great facilities, such as private onsen baths and a cozy library with a fireplace.

The room décor was a bit bland and lacked a bit of atmosphere compared to other ryokans.

From the moment I arrived, this hotel surpassed my expectations. The attention to detail was unparalleled, with exclusive amenities like a private open-air bath and beautiful treatment room. The room was luxurious and spacious, with incredible garden views. The delicious meals in the restaurant and excellent service only added to the remarkable experience. The hot spring baths were a highlight, with both indoor and outdoor options, and the sauna was a great addition as well. The location was serene and peaceful, a true escape from city life.

The only negative aspect of my stay was that the public bath could get a bit crowded at peak times. However, there were always other options available, like the private facilities, and it did not take away from the overall enjoyment of this hotel.

The room we stayed in had an amazing view of a river and mountains in the distance. The private outdoor bath was relaxing. The place had some nice artwork on display.

The cost was not worth the experience at this ryokan, especially with the limited menu options. There was no liquor available on-site, so we had to bring our own.
