I loved my stay at Candeo Hotels. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the subway station and surrounded by great eateries and shops. The hotel itself was steeped in Kyoto's unique culture, with beautiful traditional features and modern conveniences. The rooms were well-fitted and the onsen was a rare gem for a small hotel. The staff's exceptional service, like checking in on me when I sprained my ankle, made me feel well taken care of. I can't wait to return with my partner and make use of the Japanese bar upstairs. Two nights was not enough to enjoy all the amenities here.

We loved the convenient location, close to the subway and JR Station. The spa facility was amazing, a perfect way to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The hotel had a unique heritage building entrance and walkways, adding to its charm. The nearby cafes and restaurants provided plenty of dining options, and we enjoyed exploring the local sushi and Okinawa bars. The hotel was within walking distance of popular attractions like Nishiki Market and the Manga Museum. The strong wifi was a bonus. As young people, we found the hotel perfect for our needs.

The decor of the common areas was gorgeous and gave a cozy feel. The on-site spa was a wonderful bonus and the robes in the room were a nice touch. the hotel's central location made it easy to walk or take transportation to various points of interest.

The walkway leading to the lobby was uncomfortably hot and cold. There was also a significant distance to walk to reach the coffee machine, and the amount of storage space in the room was lacking.

The housekeeping service was impeccable, and the room amenities such as heating, air conditioning, and a trouser press enhanced my comfort during the stay. The hotel also offers a range of leisure facilities including a sauna and jacuzzi, as well as a TV room for entertainment. Additionally, the dining bar/lounge area was a great spot to unwind after a long day of exploring.
