I recently stayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotel in Kyoto for a five-night trip. The location was perfect, with Kyoto Station just a short walk away and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and well-designed. Despite the typical smaller room size in Japan, I never felt cramped. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing me to store my luggage upon early arrival and even helping me retrieve a package I had left behind elsewhere. Additionally, the hotel's convenient access to local bus and train stations made exploring the city a breeze.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is situated in a great spot, just a short and easy walk to the train station. It is located in a very nice street, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are beautiful, with spacious bathrooms and wide showerheads. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The hotel also offers convenient facilities, such as luggage storage and early check-in options.

The breakfast options could be improved, particularly for those with dietary restrictions such as vegetarian.

Felt right at home, no complaints at all

I had a great experience at the hotel. the location was fantastic, just right outside Kyoto station, and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. the new hotel had a nice design, and even though the room was small, it was functional and had all the amenities I needed. the shower was really good, and I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which offered both Western and Japanese food. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy.

the hotel lobby had a simple yet futuristic design, which we found amazing. the rooms were well thought through and beautifully decorated, providing exceptional comfort. the staff was incredibly helpful, especially with our 1-year-old child, and made sure he was safe to roam around the corridors. the location of the hotel was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from Kyoto Station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. And let's not forget about the unbelievably comfortable in-room pyjamas!

Accessible through underpass. Convenient location near Kyoto Tower and Yodobashi shopping mall. Spacious room for two with ample luggage space. Minimal staff interaction but they stored our luggage after checkout. Close to Kyoto Station and bus stand.

The location was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Kyoto Station through an underground passage. It made exploring the city very easy. The staff were accommodating and helpful, allowing us to store our luggage and even receiving a package for us. The hotel had a stylish design and seemed to have undergone renovations since our last stay. The food, especially the Japanese traditional meals, was delicious. an enjoyable stay for our family.

Felt cozy, no complaints whatsoever.

It's also away from the buzz of the station. The service here was great with dry cleaning, laundry, and housekeeping. The room amenities were impressive with ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and an in-room safe. The towels and free toiletries provided were also a nice touch.
