It's so close to everything cool in Kagoshima. We walked just 7 minutes to catch the ferry to Yakushima, which was awesome for our nature adventure. And if we wanted to hit up the downtown scene, Tenmonkan was just a quick 6-minute walk away. We were always in the heart of the action!

But hey, Green Guesthouse, where's the party at? We were hoping for a common area where we could hang out with other young travelers and have a great time.

Stayed in a capsule which felt like sleeping in a futuristic pod. Free Wi-Fi, laundry service, and coffee shop made this hostel a convenient place to stay.

I had a great time staying at the guesthouse in Kagoshima. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and the ferry terminal. The rooftop terrace offered a stunning view of Sakurajima and I even got to watch the sunrise from there. The beds were comfortable, especially the futons on the ground. The kitchen and common area had everything I needed and the coin washer dryer was convenient. The staff were really nice and I even attended a party they organized on the rooftop. I had a fantastic experience at this guesthouse and I would definitely stay here again.

The fully functional kitchen and 24/7 access to a coin washer and showers were wonderful amenities. The lobby was cozy and had various forms of entertainment available. I had a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I will definitely choose to stay here again in the future when I'm in the area.

The location of the guesthouse is very convenient, as it is close to both the port and downtown area. The hostel also offers various common areas such as a working space, a tatami floor, and a rooftop. guests can rent bikes, do laundry, and enjoy free coffee.

We had a fantastic stay at Green Guesthouse. the staff was incredibly helpful and the atmosphere of the building was fantastic. We loved the lovely common rooms and the fact that the showers and kitchen were on a different floor from the bedrooms, ensuring a quiet and undisturbed sleep. the location was also perfect, as it was very close to the ferries to Sakurajima and Yakushima. We also enjoyed spending time on the comfortable top floor terrace, with its beautiful view of the volcano. Green Guesthouse was a great place to stay with its character, convenience, and friendly staff.

During my xmas stay, I really liked the affordable price and the flexibility of being able to secure a room without worrying about cancellation fees. It was reassuring to know that if my plans changed or my flight was delayed, I wouldn't be penalized. the hostel's location near the ferry terminals was convenient for exploring nearby destinations like Sakurajima and Yakushima.

the traffic noise in the capsule dorms was quite loud, which made it a bit difficult to sleep at times. the dorm room was uncomfortably hot, as the air conditioning remote was either lost or inaccessible.

We chose this place due to its proximity to the ferry port as we were planning to leave for Yakushima in the morning. The location is perfect, close to downtown and the ferry terminal. The hostel is well-organized with all the amenities you need, including internet, computers, and a kitchen that you can freely use. The whole place was clean and pleasant, with a rooftop terrace that offers spectacular views of Sakurajima.

This hostel is truly mind-blowing! The atmosphere is super relaxed and I met so many interesting people from all over the world. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the sea and city center. The rooftop view of the volcano is jaw-dropping! The hostel is clean and has a great common area and kitchen. Wi-fi, laundry, and a shared kitchen are available. The bar/lounge area is perfect for relaxing. The rooms have air conditioning and are non-smoking. No pets allowed. I highly recommend this place for any backpackers or travelers!
