Staying at Gora Karaku was a true delight. the room in the Japanese West wing was exquisite with thoughtful amenities like different pairs of footwear. Dressing in traditional garments for meals added to the authentic experience. the hot spring bath was a relaxing touch, and the exceptional food quality exceeded expectations. the staff was incredibly attentive, making our stay truly memorable.

Breakfast was unusual, leaning towards Western style. Snack variety in the lounge was limited, lacking diversity.

We stayed at Gora Karaku for a night during our visit. the staff was exceptionally welcoming and treated us like royalty even though we arrived in hiking gear. the spacious room with a hot spring bath on the balcony offered a breathtaking view. the private bath experience was a highlight, as was the incredible dining experience at the grill restaurant. Conveniently located near Gora station, it's a fantastic place to stay.

Always stay here, staff helpful with sim cards. Perfect for my needs with Free Wi-Fi, parking, 24-hour reception & security. Has a bar, restaurant, shuttle service, sauna, board games. No smoking, AC. Returning for business trips. Love it.

We had an amazing time staying in this centrally located hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, from providing extra clothes and nightwear to offering a private onsen on our balcony. The facilities were well-managed and the rooms were spacious and clean, allowing us to relax and unwind after a long day of trekking. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious, offering a variety of options to suit everyone's taste.

We did find it a bit confusing to navigate around the hotel due to the lack of clear instructions and signage.

The public onsen facilities were SUPERB, plus a secluded private balcony onsen and luxurious authentic dining experiences. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the location near transport hubs was convenient for exploring. the room was spacious and clean with great extras like different colored yukatas for female guests and an in-room bath. the complimentary Flow Lounge with snacks and drinks enhanced the overall amazing stay.
