We had a fantastic stay at this secluded ryokan with clean amenities and welcoming staff. the hotel's private onsen provided a relaxing experience, and the delicious included breakfast and dinner showcased local flavors. the hotel staff, despite language differences, were accommodating and even offered transportation services to nearby attractions.

The location of the hotel is away from busy streets, offering a peaceful and serene environment. The views from the hotel, especially from the rooftop, are breathtaking, allowing guests to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. The private outside bath provides a luxurious and relaxing experience with stunning views overlooking a golf course.

Some of the in-house documentation and signs are not in English, which can make it slightly challenging for non-Japanese speakers.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the attention to detail was remarkable. From the beautiful yukata provided for dinner to the amazing landscape on the way to the hotel, every aspect was carefully thought out. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Despite the language barrier, they made us feel incredibly welcome and took care of our needs. Lastly, the breakfast was excellent and classy, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes. I particularly enjoyed the breathtaking view from the onsen on the balcony, it was the perfect way to relax.

Easter was spectacular, but unfortunately, the hotel didn't meet my expectations. However, some aspects were still amazing, like the beautiful view from the room and the tasty dinner and breakfast. the hotel staff was quite friendly and always willing to help.

Sadly, the hotel didn't match the price paid. the location was inconvenient, and the room looked run-down, not antique or charming.

We had an amazing experience at Hoshi No Akari in Hakone. The private onsen was so relaxing and the dinner & breakfast were fabulous. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel.
