We had a truly amazing experience at a hotel located on the shores of Lake Ashi. The view from our room's huge picture windows was simply breathtaking, with Ashinoko and Mount Fuji in the distance. The room itself was extremely spacious, including a large bathroom and access to public baths. The hotel even provided a free shuttle bus to and from the train station, making transportation a breeze. One evening, we had a delightful meal at the bar, which had great service and tasty food. And to top it all off, the fast internet in our room was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly memorable stay.

As a budget traveler, I loved that Hotel Hakone exceeded my expectations. I had an amazing stay at this luxurious lakeside hotel! The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of Lake Ashino and even a direct view of Mount Fuji. Being right next to the Hakonemachi cruise port, I was able to easily explore the area and visit the Togendai ropeway station. The hotel is situated in a beautiful semi-rural area, which added to the charm and tranquility of my stay.

Loved the view of Mount Fuji and lake side location. the staff was very helpful and the room was clean with impeccable cleaning service. the breakfast was great and suitable for everyone. the hotel is also in a prime location, walking distance to the ancient cedar avenue and park. Just a short drive to Hakone Shrine and other key sights. It was a great romantic escape.

The shower was a bit of an issue as water would spill out onto the floor, but the overall cleanliness of the onsen with a Mount Fuji view made up for it.
