I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The service was excellent and the staff were warm and helpful. The location was incredibly convenient, as the hotel was right next to Hikone castle. The views from the hot springs and the lounge were breathtaking, especially at night when the castle was lit up. The amenities were fantastic, including the free drink after the hot springs, the free bicycle rental, and the delicious breakfast buffet.

The staff at this hotel were so welcoming and helpful, truly going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the facilities were amazing, especially the beautiful Japanese baths with a view of the castle. the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities. Also, the location of the hotel was perfect, close to the castle and with convenient access to other attractions in the area.

One downside was that the hotel was a bit far from the train station, making it a bit of a trek with luggage. Additionally, there was a negative incident at breakfast where another guest was rude to my daughter.

This hotel provides excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location right in front of the castle offers breathtaking views, making it a perfect spot for photo opportunities. The staff's friendly service and the basic amenities provided in the rooms ensure a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast is delicious and offers a great selection.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk from Hikone Castle. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, providing me with a lot of information about the area. The room was comfortable and suitable for both business and leisure purposes. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast had a great variety of local vegetables and "nechappu". The view from the breakfast area was breathtaking. I definitely plan to stay at this hotel again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We had the most stunning view of the castle from our room at Hikone Castle Resort & Spa. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with beautiful traditional Japanese robes and slippers provided. The onsen is amazing, with granite pools and panoramic views of the castle. The breakfast buffet had a delicious variety of Western and Japanese dishes. a fantastic stay!

As older guests, we loved the resort-like atmosphere and the traditional Japanese half board menu. The view of the moat and Sakura trees from our room was stunning. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The modern Japanese bath and free beverages in the lounge were a nice touch.

The price of meals for kids below 6 years old was expensive. the smaller rooms could use some renovation.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the complimentary drinks at the Library Bar in the evening with a view towards the Castle. The free bicycle rentals were great for exploring the surrounding area. The breakfast buffet provided the best variety of Japanese and Western cuisine we had during our travels in Japan. The English spoken at the reception was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hikone Castle Resort & Spa. The location next to Hikone castle was perfect, and the train station was easily accessible. The highlight for us was the lounge on the 2nd floor with its amazing view of the castle. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The public bath was exceptional, providing a relaxing experience. We would definitely visit again!
