We had a wonderful stay at this lovely Ryokan. Our spacious unit with a balcony offered stunning forest views. Accessible by bus from the train station, it also conveniently took us to beautiful Lake Ashi. Although the staff's English was limited, they were kind and accommodating. the traditional dinner and breakfast served in our room were truly special. the peaceful and traditional ambiance, along with the garden and outdoor Onsen next to a river, made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended as a genuine Ryokan experience!

We loved this place! Nestled by the river, it had a gorgeous garden and the best open-air hot spring bath. The staff were friendly and accommodating, they even served us a welcome drink upon arrival. Our room had free wi-fi, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The room amenities were great too, including toiletries, a refrigerator, and an electric kettle. We enjoyed the dining experience and loved the food.

We recommend this hotel to anyone.

My room was spacious and had a traditional feel. I loved the private open-air onsen, it was amazing to relax and take in the beautiful views. The dinner and breakfast were served in-room and were both delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and traditional Japanese stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at a secluded retreat next to the river. the staff were incredibly polite and always there for anything we needed. the traditional styled ryokan was impeccably clean and well-decorated. the views from the property were breathtaking and serene. the food served in our room was spectacular, with a series of delicious courses for both dinner and breakfast. the futon beds were surprisingly comfortable, and we loved the bean pillow.

Plus, the convenient location next to a bus stop makes it easy to explore the area.

The road leading to the nearby Lake Ashi can be long and windy, which may not be ideal for those prone to motion sickness.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The location was very convenient, as the hotel is right on the bus route, making it easy to explore the area. Our room, Koko, was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views of the mountains. The onsen was amazing and provided a relaxing experience. The staff, especially Koko, provided excellent service and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The meals served were fit for royalty and were incredibly delicious. We also enjoyed the beautiful Japanese gardens on the property.

Some areas of the property were not up to date and could benefit from modernization.

The staff were friendly and spoke English. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful outdoor and indoor hot springs, which were not crowded and offered stunning views. it was a perfect and unforgettable experience.

Some areas of the property could use refurbishment, with some finishes appearing worn. the location was slightly away from the main central areas, requiring careful planning for exploring the surrounding city.

Cleanliness at the hotel was impeccable. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and hygienic environment.
