This hotel was a pleasant surprise. the value for money was excellent. The rates were reasonable and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the amenities compared to the price. Secondly, the location was fantastic. I was able to easily walk to various tourist attractions and there were many great coffee places nearby. Lastly, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They held our luggage before check-in and were always available to answer any questions we had.

All in all, I couldn't find anything to fault about this hotel. It was a great stay.

I recently stayed at Hotel Amanek in Kyoto for a few nights and had an incredible experience. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and provided top-notch service throughout my stay. The room was spacious with a large and comfortable bed, ensuring a great night's sleep. The onsen was a delightful addition, and I loved enjoying the free evening drinks provided by the hotel. The location was perfect, just steps away from the vibrant Potoncho Alley, filled with amazing traditional restaurants. Additionally, the hotel was within walking distance of all the major attractions in the city. a perfect hotel experience!

The location is ideal, with easy access to the main shopping area and Gion on foot. We loved the free amenities and the option to relax in the onsen. Additionally, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks.

The onsen at Amanek Kyoto Kawaramachi Gojo was incredible. After a long day of exploring Kyoto, it was a perfect way to relax and unwind. the afternoon drinks provided by the hotel were a lovely touch, and the modern bathroom amenities were impressive. the staff were friendly and the location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. it was a fantastic and affordable stay.

The public bath was a great way to relax and unwind after a long day working. I appreciated the free beverages and snacks in the lounge, which made things more convenient for me. the location was very convenient for accessing a variety of restaurants and entertainment venues.

The room I was given had a terrible view, which made me feel claustrophobic and closed in. Despite asking for a different room, I was told that I would have to pay a steep price to upgrade to a better option.

The location of the hotel was excellent; it was conveniently close to public transportation options and popular attractions such as Gion. there were plenty of good restaurants and bars in the vicinity. One key advantage was the spacious room size, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other Japanese hotels. On top of that, the free weekday open bar was a fantastic perk that added to the overall enjoyment of the stay.

One drawback was the proximity of the smoking rooms to the elevators, which caused the lobby and elevator area to have a cigarette smell. It would be beneficial for the hotel to improve the ventilation in the smoking rooms or implement better exhaust systems to prevent the smell from spreading.

The rooms were a bit on the smaller side. The bed could only be accessed from one side, so with two persons and two suitcases, it can be a bit of an organizational struggle to move around the room. However, everything else in the hotel completely makes up for this: the beds were super comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the hotel comes with a nice public bath - excellent to soak in after a long day of exploring and strolling through Kyoto.

The public onsen was super cool and spacious, the shower had amazing pressure, and the TV system was pretty cool. The wifi worked great and they provided free amenities and Yukata on the ground floor. The staff was helpful, and the location was convenient - only a short walk to the main shopping strip and a nearby chemist. The free drinks in the evening were a mind-blowing bonus with a great selection of alcohol. The hotel also had a lounge and a restaurant next door that were both amazing. a great stay with friendly staff and lots of nearby dining options. Walkable distance from the station.

Subway station not easily accessible, but at a reasonable distance. Friendly staff, clean room, and convenient public bath on the second floor. Affordable, great location, spacious public bath, self-serve amenities in the lobby with bath robes and drinks. Comfortable, nice, family-friendly hotel with standard facilities. Decent bedding, good size, good price, free drinks, onsen. Close to tourist attractions, coffee places, and a good supermarket nearby. Satisfied with the new facilities, close to Kiyomizu Temple and other tourist spots. Combination of Western and Japanese style bed, free yukata, and enjoyable happy hour. Will definitely return.
