What an amazing way to ring in the new year! We were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary welcome tea and traditional dinner, beautifully presented and with so much flavor. the staff was so friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. the location was also spot on, just a short walk away from the bus stop and some of the main attractions that the town has to offer.

The decor in the rooms and halls seemed a bit outdated, but well maintained and clean. the wifi was spotty and only available in certain areas of the hotel.

This hotel is amazing! The location is perfect, right in front of the lake with amazing views. The staff are friendly and offer great service. The rooms are cozy with comfy traditional Futon bedding to help you sleep. And the breakfast included is delicious!

All in all, everything was great at this hotel!

We were pleasantly surprised by the incredible views from our room at Hotel Musashiya. The sight of the beautiful lake and Torii gate was truly breathtaking. The traditional Japanese-style breakfast served at the hotel was also a highlight, giving us a taste of local cuisine. we would recommend this hotel for its stunning views and authentic experience.

Hotel Musashiya Hakone is a great choice for those travelling by car. Located close to the bus stop, it offers easy access to the Togendai and H-Hakonemachi areas. The rooms are spacious and well set up, with a picturesque view of lake Ashi. The staff provides excellent service, ensuring a comfortable stay. The onsen hot spring bath on the 5th floor is perfect for relaxation. Guests can also enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Table & Bakery cafe.

The common areas of the hotel could benefit from a refurbishment, as they feel a bit outdated.

Spacious tatami room with separate shower, wash-hand basin, and toilet compartments for 3 adults. Helpful staff with some English. Easy check-in. Quiet at night, despite facing main road. Lake Aishi 5 min walk away. Seven-Eleven nearby for heated meals. Open air and indoor baths available. Great view from onsen.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had a wonderful stay at Musashiya. the staff were incredibly friendly and nice, making me feel right at home. the highlight was definitely the view from the open air bath, it was absolutely mind-blowing. the traditional Japanese-style dinner and breakfast were beautifully arranged and delicious. I also loved the yukatas provided in the room. the hotel's location was perfect, close to 蘆之湖 and just a 2 minute walk to take the 海賊船. There were also great attractions nearby, such as 箱根神社, which was within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel!

My stay at Musashiya was incredible. I got great value for my money, the room was cozy and the staff treated me like family. The location was perfect, with stunning views of Lake Ashi and easy access to Hakone Shrine and the port.

The breakfast offerings could have been more varied and interesting.
