The breakfast options may not be suitable for those who prefer a Western-style breakfast.

The staff at Mystays Ueno East were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me when I lost my bag on the train. They made calls and helped me retrieve it, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the location was ideal, within walking distance of JR Ueno station and the park. The hotel was in a great spot for the countdown and was a perfect place to watch the fireworks on New Year’s Eve. the room was clean, and there was a great view of the city from the window. the staff was also accommodating and gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates to celebrate the New Year.

The breakfast buffet was below par. the food was not hot enough and the variety was limited.
