I had a truly delightful stay at Riverge Akebono. The tastefully decorated hotel exudes charm and offers a warm, homely atmosphere. My room, an executive single, was beautifully appointed with contemporary decor featuring Fukui's stunning papers. The cherry blossom views from the river-facing rooms were simply breathtaking. The breakfast buffet was a feast for the senses, with freshly cooked dishes and an impressive array of pickles. The location, within walking distance of the station and surrounded by restaurants and shops, was perfect. Despite a minor smoke smell in the older rooms, my overall experience was fantastic. The friendly staff, comfortable beds, and convenient parking made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Fukui.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel by the riverside. The staff were friendly and professional, and the attention to detail was impeccable. I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of Manga books in the lobby, adding a unique touch to the hotel. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of both Japanese and Western dishes, and the cozy breakfast room made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel also provided complimentary internet connection and a PC in the lobby, which was very convenient.

The hotel is located near a beautiful river with a stunning view of the sakura in early April. It is also conveniently close to the train station, offering easy access to restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, with some ability to communicate in English. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of tasty dishes, including both Japanese and Western options. Additionally, there are facilities like internet connection, a PC in the lobby, and a relaxing Japanese bath on the top floor of the new building.

The bathroom in the room is small compared to European hotels.

Great way to start the new year! the buffet had New Year's food which was delicious. the biggest surprise was the free shuttle to the busiest temple in the city. the hotel also provided free kimonos for guests to wear to the temple.

The hotel rooms were quite small, and there was no view from our room. the hotel was a bit farther away from the city center than we expected, so we ended up spending more on transportation than we planned.
