I had a fantastic stay at this place. The location was perfect, with convenient access to the bus stop for the airport shuttle. The view from my room was breathtaking, surrounded by majestic mountains. The service was impeccable, with friendly and helpful staff. The room amenities were top-notch, including a comfortable bed, heating and air conditioning, and a safe for my valuables. The hotel also provided a welcome drink, which was a nice touch. I was highly impressed with the quality and comfort of this hotel.

I would highly recommend this place to others.

The Japanese-style room is spacious, larger than typical. Onsen facilities are impressive, with a large area for free massages. Buffet meals offer a good variety of choices. Convenient location with a free shuttle from Sapporo. Road work inconvenience was addressed with a helpful shuttle bus.

Rediscovering Tradition

I loved experiencing the authentic ryokan style at Shikanoyu. The traditional Japanese bed and the onsen were truly memorable. The ukata provided added to the traditional charm. The dinner buffet and breakfast were also delicious. The hotel's unique atmosphere made me feel like I was truly in Japan. One small suggestion would be to have private shower rooms in the onsen area for added convenience and privacy. Lastly, the check-out time was a bit early. I highly recommend this hotel for a genuine and enjoyable Japanese experience.

Great hot springs and clean facilities, plus free shuttle service to nearby attractions. the hotel's location was near convenience stores and a bus stop. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a large variety of Japanese dishes.

The room smelled heavily of cigarettes and had only a few hooks to hang towels and clothes. Staff limited in communication in English.
