The room was spacious and clean, with everything I needed. I especially enjoyed the private onsen on site, it was a truly relaxing experience. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I highly recommend this beautiful mountain retreat.

We had a fantastic stay at Sunshine Kinugawa. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even calling us a taxi for our late check-in. the buffet offered a wide range of tasty choices, and the spacious room was well-prepared and had a gorgeous view. the location was perfect, with autumn foliage covering the opposite bank of the river and a suspension bridge just a short walk away. We loved the authentic Japanese feel of the hotel, with its tatami rooms and yukatas. our experience was wonderful and exceeded our expectations.

I had a blast with karaoke and table tennis. The hot tub and sauna were great, and the terrace had stunning mountain views. There was even a gift shop for souvenirs!

The hotel location was great, right next to the train station and with a breathtaking view of the mountains. the cafe near the entrance was a great place to have a delicious parfait and enjoy the calming atmosphere. the staff was very kind and attentive.

The buffet could have been better, as the quality of the food was not up to standard. the decor of the hotel appeared outdated and the carpets and sofas seemed dirty.

The Japanese-style room with a spectacular view was perfect for me. the buffet meals included both Japanese and Western dishes, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the coffee shop and the suspended bridge right beside the hotel. the autumn colors added to the beauty of the walk over the gorge. the hot springs were fantastic, offering two different experiences. the hotel had a classy and comfortable atmosphere, attracting both young families and older guests. the town itself was great for walking, and the train connections from the nearby city were easily accessible with tickets purchased in Tokyo. the staff was friendly and helpful, some even speaking simple English. a classy and comfortable stay.
