I recently stayed at Hotel Unizo in Kyoto for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's location is convenient, allowing easy access to both East and West Kyoto. The nearby Manga Museum was a fun attraction to visit. The hotel itself is modern and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. The restaurant on the first floor, which is a chain, served delicious and affordable meals. I particularly enjoyed sitting by the window and enjoying the view of the charming Japanese-style garden outside. The value for the price paid was exceptional, as I have paid much more for similar rooms in other places. The hotel also offers helpful amenities such as a mini fridge with a very cold temperature and a complimentary water bottle every day. The checkout time of noon was convenient, allowing for a smoother transition between hotels if needed.

La atención del personal fue excelente, fueron muy amables y rápidos al atendernos. Estábamos cerca de bares, restaurantes, un parque infantil y la iglesia. Además, las vistas desde la habitación eran espectaculares, con balcón y ventanal doble que nos permitían disfrutar del Ayuntamiento e iglesia. El desayuno fue muy completo, con café, tostadas, mermeladas y zumo natural incluido. Nos encantó empezar el día con esta variedad de opciones. Además, nos proporcionaron pases gratuitos para la playa de las catedrales, lo cual fue un detalle muy agradable por parte del hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by the compact yet comfortable room at Unizo. The bed was positioned perfectly for easy access, and the spacious bathroom with a hidden drain was a nice touch. We loved the convenience of the room key turning on the lights and TV. The attached Matsuya restaurant was a great option for meals. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Unizo.

I loved the quick and easy self-service system, where you can simply point at your desired breakfast item, receive a number, and collect your food after a short wait. For vegetarians, they are accommodating and can omit the meat from the Western breakfast option. The tea and fruit juice machines on the side were a nice touch as well. As a business traveler, I found these breakfast facilities to be perfect for a fast and hassle-free start to the day.
