Lovely quiet, older, hotel with options for traditional Japanese styled rooms. The hotel has a dark, quiet, luxurious sitting area downstairs, which is just perfect for resting and reading after walking through the parks and gardens nearby. It is very well located for the Castle and Kenroku-en gardens, as well as the older streets and eating areas of Higashiyama. Our staff were extremely helpful, spending time showing directions and providing maps for our day trip to Shirakawa and Gokayama. The hotel also has a good set of baths, with cold water, and free ice cream for afterwards. A really great spot.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our Christmas stay in Kanazawa. It was within walking distance to the Kenruoken Gardens and Kanzawa Castle, which were both beautiful sights to visit. the easy access to the geisha districts and the art museum was also a plus. We also enjoyed the spaciousness of our room and the authentic onsen experience. It was a great way to relax after a day of exploring the city.

One downside was that the hotel felt slightly worn in some areas. However, it was not a major issue for us and did not affect our overall experience.

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request or question we had. the service they provided was truly top, notch.

We got great value for our money at Kanazawa Hakuchoro Hotel Sanraku. The room was huge and comfortable, with a lounge area and a wardrobe. The location was excellent, with the castle and park right next door, as well as a traditional neighborhood within a ten-minute walk. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite our language barrier.

Hotel breakfast could be improved by offering more options for those with dietary restrictions.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Ishikawa and had a fantastic experience. the breakfast at the hotel was absolutely delicious. They served a wide variety of dishes that were traditional and focused on local ingredients. It was a great way to start the day. Secondly, the location of the hotel was excellent. It was conveniently located near the main tourist sites, making it easy for me to explore the city. And lastly, I really enjoyed the old-world feeling of the hotel. the lobby and furnishings had a charming and traditional ambiance that made me feel like I was experiencing something truly unique.

Despite the positive aspects, there were a couple of things that I didn't particularly like about the hotel. the rooms were quite small and outdated.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great location near attractions, helpful and friendly staff, delicious breakfast with Japanese variety, went above and beyond to assist with lost item.

We had a great New Year's experience at this hotel. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice seating area and wardrobe. the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese food, as well as some good western options. the hotel's location was fantastic, right next to a castle and park, and in a traditional neighborhood just a short walk away. We also enjoyed the piano concerts in the lobby every evening.

There were a few aspects that we didn't like. the beds in our room were mattresses on the floor, which was fine, but we were only provided with two mats for the three of us.

Phenomenal service, wonderful amenities, fantastic concierge assistance, comfortable room with lots of storage, complimentary drinks and snacks.

During my Christmas stay at a hotel in Kanazawa, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and convenient location. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with great suggestions for restaurants and assisting with reservations. Additionally, the hotel's top-floor rooms offered stunning views over the neighboring park, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

There were a few aspects of our stay that were disappointing. the food options at the hotel were limited, and we found the breakfast to be underwhelming.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The phenomenal service and wonderful amenities truly impressed us. The staff promptly delivered our bags and quickly fulfilled our requests for ice. The concierge went above and beyond to assist us with dinner reservations and even arranged a private room at a nearby restaurant. The room itself was comfortable, with plenty of storage space and lovely chinaware and glasses. The hotel provided complimentary drinks in the refrigerator, along with a daily snack to enjoy with our coffee. We also enjoyed the live piano performances in the lobby every night. The location was perfect for exploring the main tourist sights of Kanazawa, and the hotel even offered a free shuttle bus to the station.

Couldn't fault anything about our stay.

The value for money was excellent, with comfortable rooms and delightful amenities. The hotel's location near Kenrokuen Park and the castle was very convenient. The staff provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay.
