I had an amazing experience staying at this luxurious hotel. The staff provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to make me feel special. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and treated with utmost care. They even surprised me with extra food and alcohol to celebrate my recent marriage. The hotel itself is situated in a breathtaking location, right next to the entrance of the snow monkey trails. It was so convenient to be able to walk to the monkey park and experience the unique sight of monkeys in the onsen. The private onsen at the hotel was also a highlight, with perfect water temperature and impeccable cleanliness. The Japanese-style room was spacious and filled with natural sunlight, adding to the serene and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel also provided a free shuttle service to and from Yudanaka, making it easy for me to explore the surrounding area. this place exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

My recent stay at a ryokan in Yamanouchi was absolutely amazing. The onsen was incredibly relaxing, and the delicious breakfast and dinner exceeded my expectations. The friendliness of the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, with easy access to the nearby Snow Monkey Park.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of in-room wifi and limited options for entertainment in the area after hours, these were easily outweighed by the positive aspects of the stay. I highly recommend this ryokan for an amazing experience and an excellent location.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Its location in the area allowed me to leave early in the morning when I wanted to beat the crowds at the nearby park. The shuttle service was excellent and staff always available to assist me. The room amenities were top-notch and I especially appreciated the free wi-fi and in-room safe. I enjoyed the leisure facilities, which included a swimming pool and massage service. The dining restaurant and bar area had delicious food, and the garden area was perfect for relaxing. The hot spring bath was also very enjoyable.

The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. The location next to the Snow Monkey Park was perfect. The natural hot spring at the hotel was magical. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and filling. The hotel had beautiful artwork and a lovely garden with a waterfall.

Absolutely stunning traditional decor, gourmet Japanese food served with care and attention, and professional yet friendly staff. the private onsen was unbeatable, with both indoor and outdoor areas available for total relaxation. We loved the fact that we were able to dine in our room, surrounded by subtle luxury and impressive attention to detail. Plus, the location was excellent, with easy access to local sightseeing and activities.

We did find that the air conditioning system was somewhat confusing to use, which created a bit of discomfort for us at first. while the room itself was classy and well-equipped, it wasn't quite as cozy as we had hoped for during our romantic escape.

We had an amazing Christmas stay in Nagano! the beautiful hotel had excellent service and the staff were very helpful. the onsen was huge and usually quiet, perfect for relaxation. the tatami rooms were a decent size and comfortable. the highlight was the extremely tasty Japanese breakfast with different meals each day. the hotel's location was convenient, just a short stroll to the Snow Monkey Park entrance. a memorable Christmas experience!

The bathroom facilities were a bit dated, not very modern by Japanese standards. We had some confusion trying to book the dinner plans in advance due to a quirky website.

The balcony views were incredible, the rooms cozy, and the staff gracious and helpful. The meals, especially breakfast, were sublime. The gardens and viewing areas were perfect for contemplation, and the onsen facilities were a great addition. The shuttle bus service was convenient and the location close to the snow monkeys was perfect for our trip.

Exceptional hotel service, hands down the best hotel experience we've ever had. The daily kaiseki dinner was stunning, with an incredible set course every day. The hotel's onsen is amazing, and even though the outdoor pools were closed due to winter, the indoor pool is nice. The room was spacious, clean, and had a true Japanese design. The location is great, closest to Monkey Park, and the scenery and park of the hotel are stunning.

The beds were a bit hard, but we stacked up futons as a solution.
