I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and flexible, taking care of our luggage before check-in. They treated us with great hospitality and provided a personalized experience. The hotel is in an ideal location, within 3 minutes walking distance to 3 of the 7 onsens in the town, including the supposedly best one. We enjoyed exploring the various onsens as well as the little stores and cafes in the middle of baths and village. The room was large and had a lovely view of the river, where we could watch tiny fish swim. The futon beds were comfortable, and the room also had a fridge and a green tea set. The hotel facilities were great, including an enclosed balcony seating area where we could relax and enjoy the outdoor view. The breakfast was delicious, and they even had their own brewery with wonderful beer. it was a beautiful Japanese experience.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of town, with a free shuttle from the train station and within walking distance of all the attractions. The room was large and comfortable, with a lovely view of the canal. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast options were a bit pricey, but there were many small eateries nearby. the location and facilities were excellent.

The staff seemed less friendly and helpful compared to my previous stays in Japan.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was incredible. The prices were affordable, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the hotel. Secondly, the location was ideal, right in the center of the town and within walking distance from the train station. Lastly, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms, especially those on the third floor with beautiful Japanese gardens, were truly something special.

All was well and there was nothing that needed improvement.

As a tourist, I loved the convenience of being close to several onsen and having access to all seven with the onsen pass. The dinner on the first night was excellent and the staff was incredibly helpful, even driving us to the JR station after check out. The rooms at Yamamotoya were spotless and comfortable, with a separate tea area and beautiful views of the garden. The staff spoke English, making communication easy, and they even provided yukatas for us to wear. The ryokan also had its own onsen for guests and free access to other bath houses in the area. The highlight was the dinner course of snow crab, which was affordable compared to local restaurants.

During my recent stay, I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail at our ryokan. The rooms, bedding, and bathroom were all immaculate. We even had a private area in our room to enjoy tea while admiring the beautiful garden views. The staff were not only friendly but also spoke enough English to easily communicate with us. Everything we needed was provided, including access passes to all the bathhouses in the Kinosaki area. The highlight of our stay was the delicious snow crab dinner, which was both affordable and satisfying. I would highly recommend this ryokan to anyone visiting Kinosaki.

We had a wonderful romantic getaway at this traditional ryokan. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the onsen town and close to all the public bathhouses. the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, giving us a warm and courteous welcome upon our arrival. We loved the fact that the ryokan provided us with yukatas and geta sandals, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the authentic experience of the town.

While the rooms were a bit dated and showed signs of wear and tear, the beautiful garden view made up for it. the in-house onsen was a nice addition, but we didn't have enough time to try it.

Great location near Onsen bathhouses and pass for access. Kind staff, especially Ryu, who spoke good English. Delicious meals with big portions. Nice onsen and beautiful view of the garden. Totally recommend.

I recently stayed at a ryokan in the heart of a charming town. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station. The room was spacious and had a lovely little garden. I enjoyed sipping tea and admiring the outdoor view from my room. The service was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and warm. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared. The ryokan had a restaurant and a cozy lobby. it was a very pleasant place to stay.

There was no shower or bath in the ryokan, so I had to go to a public bath in the morning for a shower.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a great view. the futons were comfortable, and I didn't hear much noise from other rooms. the dinner experience was fantastic, with a delicious meal served in our room. the on-site onsen was a highlight, and we even treated ourselves to a couples massage in our room. the location was perfect, with easy access to public onsens and plenty of dining options nearby.

The room was surprisingly spacious and well-decorated. the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They provided us with a map, recommendations on places to eat, and gave us directions to the main attractions around the area. the location was great; we could easily access all the sights and sounds. I loved the refreshing welcome drink and snack upon arrival, a nice touch.

Sadly, the food was a major disappointment. It was either too bland or too salty.

My stay at Kinosaki Yamamotoya was worth every penny. The room was spacious, with a beautiful view of the river, and the futon beds were super comfortable. The location was perfect, with several onsen within walking distance. The staff treated us like royalty, helping us with our heavy bags and even serving us tea in our room.

The breakfast selection could be improved with a wider variety of options.

The free shuttle service was convenient and the staff were attentive and helpful. The authentic experience with tea and yukatas made us feel immersed in the culture. The room with a river view was absolutely recommended.
