The bathroom features an onsen-style bath, perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. Guests can enjoy a delicious and plentiful breakfast, with a variety of options to choose from.

The decor in some areas of the hotel appears worn out and could use a fresh coat of paint.

The staff were friendly and offered a free ride to the train station upon departure. the hotel's indoor hot spring bath was a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing. the key location is convenient, only a short walk from the train station.

The building is quite old and the soundproofing could be improved, as I heard some noise from neighboring rooms. the outdoor onsen had limited hours, which was not stated clearly in the hotel information sheet.

Kyotoya provided a unique and traditional experience with its antique ambiance and comfortable tatami beds. The meals were delicious and varied, showcasing the best of Japanese cuisine. The location was convenient, close to the local onsen center and train station. The onsen itself was a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the firm futons and occasional wifi issues, my stay at Kyotoya was enjoyable and I would recommend it to others. a great way to immerse yourself in the beauty of Takeo without breaking the bank.
