I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in Tokyo. The room was perfectly sized for someone like me, allowing me to stretch out my legs comfortably in the bath. The view of the street below was cool, and the hotel is conveniently located near a 110+ year old station. I enjoyed breakfast at a nearby café while waiting to check-in, and the owner, despite seeming angry, was actually a pleasant guy and served delicious coffee. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided didn't dry out my hair like most hotel products do. Plus, the fabric freshener they provided really works!

Everything is what I need and want. 🤷‍♀️

This hotel has amazing value for money, great service and is in a convenient location. The bilingual staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The hotel's restaurant had amazing food and the cozy room was very well designed. I loved the view from my window of the skyline at night.

The value for money at Landabout was excellent, with a comfortable bed and a simple yet pleasant room. The location was fantastic, just a 2-minute walk from the Yamanote-Loopline, making it very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and their English was excellent.

The only thing that could have been improved for breakfast was the menu variety.

I booked Landabout Tokyo for its aesthetics and it did not disappoint. The room was spacious compared to other hotels in Japan within a similar budget. The staff was hospitable, the breakfast was tasty and interesting, and the bed was really comfortable. The dinner menu offered delicious fusion Japanese food and cocktails. The attention to small details in the hotel's design was evident and made for a comfortable stay. The communal lounge area and rooftop terrace were great spots to enjoy meals and city views.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Immaculate rooms and stellar shower pressure, ensuring a clean and comfortable stay. Helpful and friendly staff, offering assistance and providing a welcoming atmosphere.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Ueno that exceeded all my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home despite being a solo female traveler in a foreign country. The hotel itself was modern, bright, and impeccably clean, with all the necessary facilities. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Ueno Park and the JR Ueno Station, providing easy access to the rest of Tokyo. The area around the hotel felt safe, with lovely bakeries and a relaxed atmosphere. Plus, the food at the hotel's restaurant was exceptional, offering a delicious mix of Western and Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to stay there again on my next visit to Ueno.

While the room was comfortable and had great amenities, some travelers with a lot of luggage might find the space a bit small to move around freely.

The view from the rooftop terrace was amazing! I could see all the beautiful buildings and landmarks. I appreciated the daily refresh of the toiletries and towels, it was a nice touch. The laundry was handy for me to wash my clothes, a needed possibility. Lastly, the connection to public transportation made it easy to explore the city and get to my destinations on time.

The breakfast was a big letdown. I was expecting a wider selection of food, but there were only a few options to choose from.

The hotel had a great vibe and atmosphere, and it was conveniently located near the JR station for easy access to Tokyo. The value for money was also good. Everything about my stay was amazing, and I highly recommend it!

Clean rooms with good shower and Wi-Fi. Great view of Skytree. Super close to Ueno Park, Ueno Zoo, and museums. Zoo is cheap but not as good as larger ones. Science and National museums are interesting. Cozy rooms with nice interior design. Restaurant and coffee on 1st floor with vegan ice cream. Central location and easy to find. Spotless hotel with necessary amenities in the room. Well-designed rooms for comfort. Original breakfast. Dry, concrete facts to follow all instructions and restrictions.

The compact double rooms were perfect for solo travelers like myself, modern and impeccably clean. The hotel thought of nice little details like fabric fresher spray and provided free toiletries. The controllable Aircon/heater and adjustable lighting system added to the comfort of the rooms. The bed was firm and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff, both at the hotel reception and at the restaurant, were very friendly and bilingual, making me feel welcome despite the language barrier. The location was ideal, just a 2-minute walk from the JR station and conveniently close to Ueno Park and the JR Ueno Station.

Didn't dislike anything about the property. 🙌
