the location was great, with a bus stop right outside for easy transportation. the staff were friendly and some even spoke English, so communication was not a problem. We had a room with a private open-air bath, perfect for my partner who has tattoos and couldn't use the communal baths. the main baths were open all night, so we were still able to enjoy them whenever we wanted. the highlight of our stay was definitely the kaiseki dinner, which was delightful. the traditional breakfast was also beautifully presented, although it may not be to everyone's taste. I highly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking to experience a night in a traditional Japanese inn.
