This hotel is located in the heart of the city, making it convenient to explore Kumamoto. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. I loved the attention to detail, especially the rooms with mascot-themed amenities. It added a fun and playful touch to my stay, and it was a pleasant surprise to find small gifts and files that came along with the themed rooms.

The buffet breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety of options. this hotel provides a great base for exploring the city.

The hotel could improve on providing non-smoking rooms as the smell of cigarette smoke can be overwhelming upon arrival.

During my Easter weekend stay, I enjoyed the convenient luggage storage service provided by the hotel, allowing me to travel light after checking out. the hotel has a great location, just a short walk from shopping streets, eateries, and convenient stores. nearby is the tram station, enabling easy travel around the area. the hotel has a spacious and trendy room with good quality amenities, making the stay comfortable.

The air-conditioning cold function wasn't available, causing a stuffy and uncomfortable stay. the staff's suggestion to open the window wasn't a good solution, and we had to keep our main door open to ventilate the room fully.

Exceptional customer service and adorable Kumamon-themed decor. The hotel room was spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved the smart phone provided and the convenient location of the hotel. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Mitsui Garden Hotel.

Great value for the money, especially with the free A4 folder, postcard, and mineral water in the cute Kumamon themed room. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of Kumamoto Castle and the shopping arcade. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

More variety in the food for breakfast would have made it even better.
